The student will be provided with the $1,000 scholarship for the students annually as long as they maintain their GPA and academic performance.
This scholarship aims to assist nursing students with financial expenses and encourage them to become the best future nurses. The Daughters of the Revolution was established in 1890; they have their headquarters in Washington, D.C., which is a volunteer women’s service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America’s future through better education for children. DAR encourages 190,000 members in 3,000 chapters all over the United States and internationally. Any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion, or ethnic past, who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution, is eligible for membership. They are warmly encouraging women’s education and assisting them in providing the best educational opportunity through scholarships.

Who May Be Eligible
Students are requested to go through the eligibility criteria:
- Students must be enrolled in nursing to earn an associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree.
- Students must have a cumulative GPA score of a minimum of 3.0
- The candidate must be a U.S. citizen.
- The candidate must need financial assistance.
- Applicants must be involved in community service.
- The fellow must demonstrate strong moral character through volunteer activities.
How to Apply
The fellow should provide the complete application form, attach all the documents and send it electronically before the deadline. Please make sure that the information offered by the student is valid. The Daughters of the Revolution will not accept late submissions, so so the request before the deadline.
