The scholarship is a merit-based scholarship for students who demonstrate excellent academic performance.
The Institution of Educational Advancement aims to provide high school education affordable for the students who are learning in high school and are planning to get enrolled for higher education. The Institution of Educational Advancement is dedicated to helping students and making academics possible for all the students.
The Institution of Educational Advancement was established in 2002; the five students from the Greater Los Angeles and San Francisco areas were selected as the first Caroline D. Bradley Scholars. Every year the Scholarship has expanded regionally, and it is now offered nationally. The Scholarship was inspired and supported by numerous generous donors and is now funded by The Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation. The CDB Scholarship gives a life-changing experience for its students, providing a four-year high school scholarship, and counsel through high school and beyond, and a robust community of intellectual peers.
