Brooking Industries has announced their scholarship program for the year 2022 to high school seniors or college students who are dependent sons or daughters of a current, full-time, commissioned Law Enforcement Officer or qualified First responders in the United States. Students entering into this scholarship program have to make a video where they will be describing their dreams including what their career objective and passion is, what encouraged them to go after their dream choice, and other points that they want to be considered by the evaluator. This program provides an excellent opportunity where the students will be able to gain financial assistance to fulfill their dreams.
Students who make the best videos will get selected for the awards based on their video’s content and its presentation clarity, creativity, and production quality by the committee of passionate volunteers from the Brooking Network. The best video creator will receive awards amount of $10,000, and the other four runner-ups will receive $500 each. The award will be directly given to the recipient’s institution where they are enrolled and not the students. The amount may be used by the institution for the student’s institution-imposed fees in the form of tuition assistance, library fees, textbooks, and other related and required fees.
Brooking Industries was founded in 1997, and they are the manufacturers of quality vehicular emergency equipment for the law enforcement industry. Their purpose is to provide quality products and personable service to installers and up-fitters across the country. This scholarship is provided to help and assistance to the offspring of the enforcement industry.

Who is Eligible?
Applicant must:
- Be a high school senior or college student
- Be the dependent son or daughter of a current; full-time commissioned Law Enforcement Officer or qualified First Responder in the United States
- Be either a U.S. Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident
- Currently attend or have been accepted to an accredited community college or four-year college or university in the United States
(Past scholarship winners, Brooking associates, and affiliates are not allowed to apply.)

How to Apply?
The eligible students for this scholarship program should make a video in which they must describe their dreams which includes what inspired them to pursue their dream, passion, and other factors. Below are the requirements of the video:
- Original video
- Video or any variant should never have been released or made public prior
- The video should contain only copyright-free and trademark-free content (no visuals with brand names etc.)
- Have a creative title
- Video must be of a minimum of 60 seconds and a maximum of 120 seconds
- Be submitted in of the following formats: MOV.MPEG4, .MP4, .AVI
Applicants must follow the above video format, and with this, they must attach the below seven required documents with it:
- Proof of college enrollment
- Signed media release using this form
- Signed dependent relationship using this form
- A scan of a valid government-issued photo ID for the applicant
- A scan of a valid government-issued photo ID for the parent or legal guardian
- Proof that the parent or legal guardian is currently employed within one of the roles listed here (issued work id etc.).
Applicants must create a folder on Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive and add all the materials, including the video, to the folder and should grant access to scholarship@brookingindustries.com. Benefits
The students applying for this scholarship program will get selected for the award based on their video’s presentation clarity, creativity, and production quality. The best video creator will be selected as the winner will receive an award amount of $10,000, and the other four applicants will be selected as runner-ups and will receive an award amount of $500 each. The award will be directly given to the recipient’s institution where they have enrolled and not directly to the recipient. This amount will be used for the student’s educational purposes and to manage their room and board expenses, tuition assistance, library fees, textbooks, and related institution-imposed fees. The scholarship will help, motivate and encourage students to secure their career in Law Enforcement, EWS, Fire, or First Responder Fields and continue their study at accredited colleges & universities.
