The LAB of Louisiana Association of Broadcasters is happily inviting candidates to apply for their exceptional Broadcast Scholarship Program. Fellows must be from broadcasting, broadcast engineering, mass communication, or journalism and/or working for a TV or radio to be eligible. Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 2.5 to be considered.

The LAB or Louisiana Association of Broadcasters is willing to expand the industry with talented professionals by helping them to pay for their education. The association wants to support individuals who are planning to have a successful career in broadcasting. The association understands that a lack of financial stability makes it difficult for most students to complete their higher education and for making higher education convenient for all the scholarship has been initiated.

The LAB or Louisiana Association of Broadcasters is one of the most prominent associations dedicated to the growth of the broadcasting industry. The association was started in 1947 being the only state organization dedicated towards the growth of the broadcasting industry with their exceptional programs. The association wants to create a favourable environment for all the television and radio providers in the state and the audience.

Who May Be Eligible

Here are the requirements you need to follow before applying for the scholarship:

  • Candidates can be broadcasting industry even on or off-screen, even graphic developer, video editing or camera crew to be eligible.
  • Fellows must be from broadcasting, broadcast engineering, mass communication, or journalism and/or working for a TV or radio to be eligible.
  • Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 2.5 to be considered.

Only the eligible candidates are welcome to apply for the scholarship. Fellows should complete the online application with all the required details and materials without any negligence.   • Please submit an application along with three letters of recommendation from a college professor, broadcaster and/or other business people.

Benefits

Two students studying in Louisiana college will be selected to award $2,000 per semester, totalling $4,000 for the academic year. The amount should be utilized to pay the educational needs of the candidates like tuition, fees, books and other related requirements. These scholarships encourage students to do better in their career through scholarships. These programs will reduce the financial burden.
