Breonna Taylor Scholarship

ASU  is proudly announcing the Breonna Taylor Scholarship program for the graduating high school seniors attending college in the fall semester, current graduate, or current law school. Students who are residents of Kentucky State and belong to a racial or ethnic minority are welcome to apply for this excellent grant. This program is initiated in honor of Ms. Taylor to support students in their educational expenses.

The program aims to provide financial assistance to underserved or underprivileged and underrepresented ethnic minority students whose empathy, leadership, and passion will positively change people’s lives of their communities and the world. It will support and provide opportunities to underrepresented students through their amazing programs.

It serves students with valuable and demanding study programs. The first year, transfer, graduate, international, veteran, nondegree students are served with numerous valuable programs.

Who May Be Eligible?

Before applying for the grant applicants needs to qualify in the below-given criteria:

  • Candidates must be a graduating high school senior who will be attending college in the fall semester
  • Current undergraduate or current law school students are eligible to apply
  • Applicant must be residing in the state of Kentucky
  • Students must belong to a racial or ethical minority

How to Apply

Eligible students should apply for the grant through an online application form. All the necessary details and the supporting documents proving the eligibility of the candidates should be provided. Other required material should be submitted through the same form. Late and incomplete applications will not be entertained.

Supporting Documents

  • All the personal details should be submitted through the form
  • Candidates need to submit an essay between 500 to 1000 words about how they have made a difference in others’ lives with their passion for changing the world. We also want to know about a career path that will enable them to give back to the community and be a voice for the underprivileged. Students should describe how their life experiences have given them empathy and understanding for others victimized by radical and economic inequality.

Benefits

The student winning the scholarship will be awarded the amount of $1000 to fulfill their educational expenses on their way to complete their respective course. This scholarship will encourage students to do better in their careers and make some remarkable difference in their community’s lives.
