Braun Prize International Competition

The Braun Prize is pleased to announce its annual competition, named as “The Braun Prize International Competition”. By taking on global problems or simply improving the quality of individual lives, they want to encourage innovation that can be virtual or physical, scientific or technical, or that changes our behavior for the better.

The Braun’s international competition invites design schools, students, and young talents to enter innovative product ideas and concepts that really matter. The program will award a total of $75,000 USD prize money. In addition to the cash prizes, all award winners will receive a trophy and a certificate.

The Braun Prize Competition is organized by Braun, a Procter & Gamble brand, and managed by the Braun Design Team in Kronberg, Germany.

Who May Eligible:

To eligible, the candidates must be following all the eligibility criteria:

  • It is available for design schools, students, and young talents to enter innovative product ideas and concepts that really matter.
  • Participants can use the online registration and upload function to submit their projects during the submission period.

How to Apply & Competitions Rules:

Rules:

  • The product concepts submitted should represent innovations in design, technology, sustainability and user experiences.
  • Project name and a brief description
  • Three descriptive pictures
  • Documentation
  • Video and/or animation (optional)
  • All required documents need to be sent or uploaded in digital format. Printed documents will not be accepted.
  • All materials must be in English.

Benefits:

The total prize money for both categories is $75,000 USD.

  • Gold Award Student and Young Talent: 2x $15,000 USD
  • Silver Award Student and Young Talent: 2x $10,000 USD
  • Bronze Award Student and Young Talent: 2x $5,000 USD
  • Sustainability Award Student and Young Talent: 2x $5,000 USD
  • Special mentions (distribution at the discretion of the jury): $5,000 USD
  • Chance of an internship at the Braun Design department: Internship
