Bonsai Finance Veteran’s scholarship is a funding program that targets veterans and their dependents who strive for excellence in their lives. The scholarship program is only open to applicants who are veterans or active-duty members of the US military service or the son, daughter, or spouse of the member of US military service. To participate in the following program the applicants are required to write a short essay responding to the questions asked in the application form. The person with the best and creative response will be awarded the one-time scholarship amount of $1,000.
The scholarship is being offered to the students who belong to veteran backgrounds to provide them enough funds for acquiring education. The award amount of the scholarship can only be used for the current or future educational costs. The winners of the Bonsai Finance Veteran’s scholarship will be decided by a selection committee set up by Bonsai Finance. The announcement of the winner will be made by November 2, 2021, and be notified or contacted via email. The deadline for the application submission is September 30, 2021.

Who is Eligible?
Following are the eligibility requirements that need to be satisfied for participating in the following scholarship contest:
- Be a veteran or active duty member of the U.S. Military service, or a direct dependent (i.e., son, daughter, spouse)
- Be a high school senior, high school graduate, or registered as an undergraduate student at an accredited college or post-high school vocational/technical institution.
- Be a U.S. citizen.
- Not have previously earned a bachelor’s degree from a college or university.
- Employees of BonsaiFinance.com, Inc and its divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, promotional or marketing agencies and their immediate family members (spouse, children, parents and siblings) and persons living in family member homes are not eligible.
How to Apply?
The interested individuals must fill out the application form provided on the scholarship portal and submit it. Additionally, the candidate must write a 500-word essay stating how he strives for excellence in his life. What are the accomplishments of which he is most proud? What challenges did he overcome to achieve what he has?
Winners will be required to provide proof of status as a Veteran or dependent.
All the applications will be reviewed and judged, and out of all, the most deserving candidate will be chosen and be announced as the winner. The winner will be awarded a one-time scholarship amount of $1,000.
The deadline for application submission for the following scholarship is September 30, 2021. No applications will be considered after the deadline.
