Blake King understands the student’s complications and tries every possible way to solve their problems. These esteemed scholarships are named in the memory of N. B. King. N. B. King has been a long time member of the Kiwanis Club of New London. He was also a former governor of the New England District of Kiwanis in 1966.

Supporting Documents
- The 1-page essay must be attached to the application. The essay should describe: why the applicant is perfect for the scholarship and how it will help students in their education.
- Students must submit a recent official high school transcript with the application.
- Letter of recommendation must be attached with the application. These letters must be from professionals; letters from family members will not be considered for the scholarship.
- Character reference must be submitted with the application form.
