Who May Be Eligible
Here are the needs which makes you eligible for these scholarships:
- Candidates must be high school seniors currently enrolled at a Berks County public high school who plan to enrol in either a two or four-year accredited institution of higher education.
- Applicants must demonstrate a financial need based on the criteria selected.
How to Apply
All applications and documents should be included as separate attachments. It should be sent in one email to the following email address: scholarships@bingamanhess.com. Any incomplete applications will be rejected for the Scholarship.
Supporting Documents
- Applicants must attach their recent official high school transcripts.
- Cover letter confirming the applicant’s full name, address, phone number, and the name of the institution they plan to attend.
- If the applicant has not yet decided where to attend, list the school’s name (s) to which you have applied or been accepted.
- Applicants must attach an original essay of 500 words or less articulating answers to the following questions:
- Why have you decided to continue your education?
- What do you hope to learn?
- How will it help you with your plans for the future?
Benefits
The Bingaman Hess will present two (2) annual Scholarship awards of $1,000 each to the eligible applicants. This Scholarship will benefit eligible students. So each candidate must be a part of this program. The process of these scholarships is simple so that multiple students can compete for them and enjoy their benefits.
