The BigSun Organization is proud to announce the Big Scholarship for the academic 2022. This scholarship is organized by Big Sun to offer an annual scholarship to deserving students and help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits.
This scholarship award is especially being offered to senior high school students that are athletes. All student-athletes are eligible regardless of the sport they are engaged in. The award is valued at $500 and is directed towards the cost of education incurred at an accredited American university or college.
The Big Sun Athletic Organization is dedicated to providing an opportunity for young athletes to learn and excel. The organization is developing programs in all sports in its community in an effort to keep its children motivated, and healthy and to teach them the value of teamwork. The organization is committed to offering high school seniors or students enrolled in post-secondary institutes scholarships to further their academic pursuits in athletics.

Who is Eligible?
- The applying student must be athletes regardless of the sport they are engaged in or the capacity in which they participate.
- The student must be a high school senior or be attending a post-secondary institute.
- The students must be sure to remember to include their name and the name of the school that they are attending.
How to Apply?
- The students interested to apply for this scholarship must write an essay addressing the following questions:
- How did your participation in sports during your high school years influence you?
- Has your participation influenced your career goals?
- Has your participation influenced how you relate to your family?
- The completed essay must then be sent to athleticawards@bigsunathletics.com to apply for the scholarship award.
Benefits
The Big Sun Organisation will award an individual scholarship worth $500 to each selected student. The award amount can be utilized to support their undertaken study at any accredited American university or college.
Application Deadline
The applications for this scholarship program will close on 19th June 2022. Students that abide by the application period and are selected will be notified of the result within 2 weeks of the deadline and the name of the winner will be posted on the official website at that time.
