To be eligible for the scholarships, the students must meet the following requirements:
- Apply to any of the undergraduate programs at BGSU
- Be a high school graduate
- Have a standing academic record, community involvement, and leadership quality
- Be a citizen of the United States
How to Apply
No separate application is required to be considered for the scholarships at BGSU. The students are required to complete the FAFSA form with the school code to avail themselves of the benefits of certain scholarships. After completion of the admissions application, the students will automatically be considered for the scholarships.
The benefits of the scholarships are as follows:
- University Freshman Academic Scholarship: $1,000 to $8,0000 renewable scholarship
- Falcon Achievement Award: $1,ooo to $3,000 renewable scholarship
- BG Success Scholarship for Out-of-State Students: Residents living out of Ohio will receive scholarships of up to $4,000
The application deadline varies between scholarships. The FAFSA should be submitted on or before January 15, 2021. Late and incomplete submissions will not be considered.
