University of Minnesota
Wrestling began at the University of Minnesota in 1910. The Minnesota Golden Gophers are a Division I college wrestling team based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They are a member of the Big Ten Conference and NCAA. Wrestling Club practices are designed to help members of the club learns and improve their wrestling skills in a fun and productive manner.
The Wrestling Club at the University allows any members of any wrestling skill level/knowledge to both learn new and improve existing wrestling technique. They also educate University students on proper wrestling technique, rules, safety, and culture. Penn State University
The Penn State Nittany Lions wrestling team is an NCAA Division I Wrestling team competing as members of the Big Ten Conference. Penn State wrestling program was established in 1909 and was declared a national dual meet champion in 1921. Penn State Wrestlers have reached their individual championship match 69 times, going 41-28 in those title bouts. Penn State wrestlers have gone on to have success beyond their NCAA achievements. Wrestlers have had career success in the Olympics and in professional Mixed Martial Arts (MMA).

University of Iowa
The University of Iowa wrestling program at Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is one of the most successful athletic programs in NCAA Division I. Iowa is second in NCAA history with 23 national championships, all of which have come since 1975. Wrestling at the University of Iowa began in 1911 when the first head coach, E.G. Schroeder, led the team in a dual against Nebraska. University of Illinois
The University of Illinois Division of Intercollegiate Athletics Sports Medicine Department is committed to providing comprehensive, state of the art healthcare and wellness services designed to protect and enhance the well-being of the student-athlete. From its inaugural season in 1910 to Isaiah Martinez’s back-to-back NCAA titles, the Fighting Illini wrestling program has been a model of consistency in collegiate wrestling. Over the course of the 108-year history, the Illini have crowned the second-most Big Ten team titles (17) and the fourth-most Big Ten individual champions (77) while competing in the nation’s toughest conference.
