The Casualty Actuaries of the Southeast (CASE) is offering up to two (2) scholarships of $1,500 each to college students in southeastern states for the upcoming academic year. The program is open to all college students who will be continuing as full-time students for the academic year to which the scholarship will apply at a college or university in one of the following Southeastern states- Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, or Virginia.

Orlando Science Center is supported by United Arts of Central Florida is pleased to offer the Dr. Nelson Ying Science Competition. Mcknight Doctoral Fellowship Program

The McKnight Doctoral Fellowship program is designed to address the under-representation of African American and Hispanic, a U.S. citizen, and students who hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the state of Florida. Up to 50 Fellowships (renewable for up to five years) are granted each year to students pursuing doctoral degrees at one of 9 participating institutions in the State of Florida. Each Fellowship consists of $17,000 per year in tuition, fees, and a stipend.

American Legion Oratorical Contest

The American Legion Oratorical Contest exists to develop deeper knowledge and appreciation for the U.S. Constitution among high school students. In order to get to the State Oratorical Contest, you must participate in a District Level Contest or Area Level Contest or State Level Contest or National Contest.  The program will be awarded Total $6,000 to Florida State 1 to 5 Finals winners and total $48,000 to National 1 to 3 Finals winners.
