Students choosing this vocation have high demand in the medical field. It has been estimated that vacancies for professional ultrasound techs will increase by an average of 19% in the near future. A student with an associate degree in ultrasound can receive a double-digit salary while working for any medical facility. This is quite high when it comes to average students who wish to make a career in this medical field.
