2. Nellie Martin Carman Scholarship
The graduating seniors who are from public high schools in King, Pierce, and Snohomish counties in Washington State are eligible to apply for the scholarship. It is to recognize, help, and make the students powerful enough financially so that they get confident enough to follow the college education of their choice. The graduating high schools’ seniors of King, Snohomish, and Pierce Counties are considered here. The scholarship is in the loving memory of Mrs. Carman, who had devoted her life to the well-being of the Washington state. 3. Billy Smith Memorial Scholarship
The scholarship provides educational resources to those who are graduating from high school and are baseball or softball players and would like to continue a college degree related to sports. The applicants need to be graduating high schools seniors and residing in Winnebago, Boone, Ogle, or Stephenson County. They should have played a minimum of three years of baseball or softball in high school, including senior year. A GPA of 3.0 has to be maintained by the applicant for applying for the scholarship.

7. C. Sylvia and Eddie C. Brown Community Health Scholarship Program
The public health leaders devoted to the removal of health differences in Baltimore and other cities are considered for the C. Sylvia and Eddie C. Brown Community Health Scholarship. There is an annual nomination for the same who are African American US citizens and are accepted to a Ph.D. program at the Bloomberg School. The scholarship helps provide complete tuition, health insurance, matriculation fees, and NIH-level living stipend for the doctoral program at the Bloomberg School for up to five years. The scholarship recipients also get the chance to get a one-time research award to start off with a community health project and participate in professional development activities. There is an additional fund being obtained from Baltimore-based philanthropists C. Sylvia and Eddie C. Brown and the Bloomberg School. 8. Advancing Public Health Excellence (APEX) Scholarships
