1. Ohio Nurses Foundation Scholarships
The Ohio Nurses Foundation has set up various sets of scholarships for students pursuing a career in nursing. Most of these grants are dedicated to previous honorable nurses who lived a committed life towards serving the community and humanity’s causes. These scholarships are available to a full-time students enrolled in an RN program; they must be active, licensed RNs. They must also be a member of the Ohio Nurses Association and maintain a high GPA score of 2.5 -3.5. They must be prepared to be practicing RNs in the state of Ohio after graduation. Some of the scholarships require the students to be active members of the ONF. 2. Ohio University College of Health Sciences and Professions Scholarships

4. Summit and Portage District Scholarship

5. The Nurse Education Assistance Loan Program ( NEALP)
The Ohio General Assembly has created the Nurse Education Assistance Loan Program for Ohio students who are enrolled for half-time or being approved for a nursing degree at an accredited Ohio Nurse education program. NEALP provides funding to these nurses who are interested in serving the community after graduation or serving as instructors in nursing schools. For a 100% loan cancellation, the student should be employed as a full-time nurse in Ohio for five years. Students are chosen on the basis of their FAFSA data, nor must they be in default of payment with any of the loan programs provided by the federal financial assistance program.
