The Ethnic Minority and Women’s Enhancement Graduate Scholarship was established by NCAA to provide athletic opportunities for minority women. The main purpose of this scholarship is to provide opportunities for qualified minority and female candidates in intercollegiate athletics through graduate scholarships.

NCAA will offer a generous amount of $10,000 to 13 most-deserving female candidates, who will be entering their initial year of graduate studies, must be seeking admission, or have been accepted into a sports administration or program that will help the participants in establishing a career in intercollegiate athletics such as, athletics administrator, coach, athletic trainer and so on. 2. The Angela Murphy Scholarship

The Black Women in Sport Foundation is known to offer a number of scholarships for outstanding female athletes, and the Angela Murphy Scholarship is one of them. BWSF offers four scholarships annually to matriculating female college students and helps them in pursuing their athletic careers along with maintaining the expenses of academics.

4. Brian Pearson Memorial Scholarship

The Brian Pearson Memorial Scholarship is offered every year, in honor of former Iowa State University basketball player Brian Pearson, who demonstrated excellence in athletics, and was involved with the Iowa Games. 5. Foot Locker Scholar Athletes Program

The Foot Locker Scholar Athletes program honors student-athletes who demonstrate exceptional academic ability and strong leadership skills in sports, in their schools, and within their communities. To apply, you must be entering college in the Fall of 2022 as a Freshman at a four-year school for an undergraduate degree, currently, be involved in high school sports, intramural sports, or community-based sports, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, prove your U.S. citizenship or permanent legal residence, and lastly, not be an employee, officer or director of Foot Locker, Inc. 6. NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship

Every year, around 126 postgraduate scholarships are awarded by NCAA to provide financial assistance to student-athletes who excel academically and athletically and who are at least in their final year of intercollegiate athletics competition. Winning participants receive one-time non-renewable scholarships amounting to $10,000 that are awarded three times a year corresponding to each sport season (fall, winter, and spring).

In Each sports season, NCAA offers 21 scholarships to outstanding female athletes and 21 scholarships to equally talented male athletes. To become eligible for this scholarship, you must be in the final season of NCAA athletics eligibility or must have completed athletic eligibility, be in the final year of undergraduate academic work or received an undergraduate degree, maintained an overall undergraduate minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2 on a 4.0, must be planning to get enrolled in a graduate program and so on. 7. USABA Scholarship Program

United States Association of Blind Athletes values talents and not disabilities, and hence every year awards scholarships worth $500 to one female and one male athlete who have demonstrated athletic excellence in spite of being legally blind.

USABA scholarships are awarded to students who meet the eligibility criterias of being legally blind, currently enrolled in a two or four-year college, university, or technical school, having a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher, and being a USABA member. 8. Sara Scholarship

Established in the year 2012 and solely dedicated to female athletes, the Sara Scholarship is awarded every year by the Henry & Sara Sheehan Foundation to female high school seniors who plan to pursue a college degree and intend to carry on their athletic careers. Scholarships are awarded to female students who demonstrate academic achievement, excellence of character, financial need, and active involvement in the sport of golf; however, skill in playing golf is not a criterion to receive this scholarship.

At least twelve eligible students are selected for the outstanding award of $2,000, the amount that needs to be applied towards tuition, books, board, and other expenses. Eligible students who continue to meet the eligibility criterias every year shall have the opportunity to renew this scholarship and receive up to $8,000. 9. GRLSWIRL Scholarship

Offered by a team-up between Bold.org and GRLSWIRL, this scholarship is open to any female student who is involved with the sport of Skating and is in need of financial assistance to continue higher education in college or university. 10. Billy Welu Scholarship

The last one on this list, the Billy Welu Scholarship, is offered every year by the Professional Bowlers Association, with an aim to recognize exemplary qualities in male or female college students who compete in the sport of bowling.
