2. Edward W. Stimpson Aviation Excellence Award

A graduating U.S. high school senior who has been accepted or is going to get enrolled in an aviation degree core program at the student’s chosen college/university are eligible to look forward to the GAMA Edward W. Stimpson Aviation Excellence Award. The Funding agency, The General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA), is an international trade association and is devoted to working for the advancement of the common well-being, security, preferences, and doings of the global business and general aviation industry. 3. Whirly-Girls Initial or Add-On Helicopter Flight Training Scholarship

Female student pilots or female pilots rated in aircrafts other than helicopters are aimed through the Whirly-Girls Scholarship. Funded by the Whirly-Girls Scholarship Fund, students or certificated female pilots are awarded once after completing initial or add-on helicopter ratings. 4. WIA FOUNDATION

Scholarships are provided to women interested in a career in the aerospace field by pursuing higher education or a bachelor’s degree in engineering, math, or science. The applicant has to have completed a minimum of two and a half academic years of full-time college work at the time of application. Presently they should be enrolled in an accredited college or university in the United States or its territories. 5. Olin E. Teague Scholarship

Every year, the National Space Club and Foundation offers scholarships to support and encourage talented young people to pursue careers in aerospace fields. It is a memorial scholarship in the name of Honorable Olin E. Teague, a Representative in Congress who had been a constant support for the national space program. The scholarship amount is awarded to the graduating high school senior who is at an accredited U.S. high school.
