The Sidney R. Baer Jr. Foundation, in collaboration with The Center for Reintegration, offers the Baer Reintegration Award. The Buckfire Law Firm established this award in 2014 as a means to demonstrate its dedication to helping children with injuries or impairments who wish to pursue a university education. 4. Drake Davis Scholarship
The Drake Davis Foundation was founded in 2006 after Drake Davis committed suicide. Its mission is to increase consciousness and stop more young adults from attempting suicide. Every year, the organization awards grants to high school seniors. They are looking for kids that have demonstrated leadership, have a positive attitude, and have conducted volunteer work to benefit others. Students must send a copy of their credentials, a letter of reference, a copy of a college admission letter, and a 500-word essay on why receiving this scholarship is essential to them when applying for this prize. Each year, the Drake Davis Board of Directors chooses the winning students. The Drake Davis Foundation, established in memory of Drake Davis, who died by suicide on January 4, 2006, grants scholarships to high school students who demonstrate exceptional leadership, integrity, and community service.
