UMass Dartmouth prepares undergraduate students for admission to medical and health-related professional programs through its Pre-medical/Pre-health Advising program. For students who have already received a bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university, they are eligible for admission to our Pre-Health Certificate program. The Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry has a long tradition of sending students to professional schools in medical fields. This includes students who went on to obtain M.D. as well as D.O. degrees. American International College of Arts and Sciences – Antigua’s (AICASA) pre-med program gives qualified high school graduates the opportunity to complete medical school prerequisites in less than two years.
