Quincy College
Founded in 1958, Quincy College is a two-year, municipally affiliated college serving approximately 4,500 students at campuses located in Quincy and Plymouth, Massachusetts. It is an open admission commuter school that offers associate’s degrees and certificate programs in professional fields of study. The college is in the process of building their four-year Baccalaureate program and will systematically expand degree offerings in the near future. The college confers 37 Associate degrees and 25 certificates of completion in a wide variety of studies. Quincy College operates an articulation agreement with Cambridge College for four-year baccalaureate degrees and with Excelsior College for online learning.

BHCC is one of the most diverse institutions of higher education in Massachusetts. Northern Essex Community College
Northern Essex is one of 15 community colleges in the Massachusetts Higher Education system. More than 6,600 students are enrolled in some 70 credit associate degree and certificate programs. It offers post-secondary education through the associate degree level, including career programs in areas such as nursing and allied health, computers, criminal justice, paralegal studies, and deaf studies and dozens of transfer programs for students who start their education at Northern Essex and transfer for their junior and senior years, eventually earning a bachelor’s degree or higher. Massasoit Community College
Massasoit is one of the largest of the 15 community colleges within the Massachusetts Public Higher Education system. Massasoit Community College offers associate degree programs in arts, sciences, and applied sciences, and one-year and short-term certificates for a range of occupations and interests. The Board of Higher Education has statutory authority to confer Associate Degrees to individual community colleges. Blue Hills Regional Technical School
The school had been expanded to house approximately 1,230 students in the high school, while also serving another 1,400 students in the adult education programs. They offer a variety of courses and academic levels including a foreign language elective for students who require language coursework for college. Blue Hills Regional Technical School offers a comprehensive academic program that operates on an alternating week schedule. Students participate in five full days of academic instruction alternating with five full days of vocational instruction throughout the school year.
