The United States Coast Guard Academy

The United States Coast Guard Academy is the smallest of the five federal service academies and provides education to future Coast Guard officers in one of eight major fields of study. All graduating cadets earn commissions as ensigns in the United States Coast Guard, as well as Bachelor of Science degrees. The U.S. Coast Guard Academy offers eight academic majors. All cadets pursue a liberal arts-based core curriculum, providing a broad academic foundation to complement the specialized learning within each major.

Fairfield University

Fairfield University is a private Jesuit Catholic research university that was established in 1942. The university had about 4,100 full-time undergraduate students and 1,100 graduate students.
