University of Alaska Southeast

The University of Alaska Southeast is abbreviated as UA Southeast, Alaska Southeast, or UAS. UAS offers an intensive nine-month humanities program that offers students the opportunity to better understand their relation to the natural world and to develop skills and characteristics that are essential to success in outdoor and adventure settings. University of Alaska Fairbanks

UAF is a land-grant, sea-grant, and space-grant institution, and it also participates in the sun-grant program through Oregon State University. University of Alaska Anchorage

Between the community campuses and the main Anchorage campus, over 20,000 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students are currently enrolled at UAA.  UAA offers master’s degrees and graduate certificates in select programs, and the ability to complete certain Ph.D. programs through cooperating universities through its Graduate Division. These are often referred to as 3+3 programs or an Accelerated JD Program because students spend three years as undergraduates and three years in law school.

Alaska Pacific University
