The Barton Community College paramedic program is provided by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs. Barton offers course work at all levels of pre hospital emergency care EMR, EMT, AEMT, and Paramedic. The Emergency Medical Services Program offers coursework at all levels of pre-hospital emergency care.

Santa Rosa Junior College

With approximately 28,000 students, Santa Rosa Junior College has a superb faculty and staff, comprehensive student services and beautiful facilities. The SRJC Paramedic Academy begins accepting applications in the January before the August start date. SRJC holds one paramedic academy each year. The program begins in August, and generally takes 12-15 months to complete. Many paramedic students are eligible for Board of Governors (BOG) tuition waivers.
