In its 64-year history, the Oklahoma state program has only had three coaches. The Cowboys have won ten national titles, including the 2006 championship. OSU has 16 runner-up finishes and has been in the top five 50 times. Finally, OSU has produced eight NCAA champions. From 1947 to 1973, the program was led by legend Labron Harris, who was followed by Mike Holder, who coached for an incredible 33 years!
University Of Georgia
In 1999, the team won the national championship. From 1971 to 1996, the Bulldogs competed in 17 NCAA tournaments, with 10 top-10 finishes and seven SEC championships. From 1946 to 1970, Howell Hollis led the Bulldogs to 10 individual league championships and 12 Southeastern Conference titles. The last Bulldog to win the NCAA championship is George Hamer (The Georgia Pine). Coach of the Year was given to Dick Copas in 1978, and 31 of his players were named All-Americans.
Stanford University
The Cardinal men’s golf team has won eight national championships, which is the third-most in school history, and the Cardinal women’s golf team won the national championship in 2014-15, and its players have won 24 major championships in professional golf (more than any other team). The Sun Devils have won two NCAA team championships, six NCAA individual championships, and three US amateur titles. From 1995 to 2000, they had a six-year winning streak in the Pac 12. They have six state championships under their belt and are tied for third place in the NCAA. University of Florida
The University of Florida golf team was established in 1924, making it the university’s fifth athletic team. Coach Buster Bishop was a well-known figure who led the team to the NCAA national championship in 1966. The “Darr and Blevins era,” from 1979 to 1987, and the Buddy Alexander era, from 1988 to 2014, are two other notable coach eras. University of Texas
