The university consists of 8 constituent colleges and schools and has a classical liberal arts curriculum. At TCU, students pursue the BFA in Ballet, Modern Dance or Ballet and Modern Dance. You’ll pursue a distinctive curriculum and learn how to live and dance in the world as visionary leaders, active participants, and collaborative partners. The School for Classical & Contemporary Dance offers a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Ballet and/or Modern Dance. At TCU, Students are accepted to the SCCD by audition and may choose to audition as ballet majors, modern dance majors or for either major.

The Indiana University Ballet Department provides the highest level of professional ballet training within an academic, intellectual, and artistic university environment. The department trains dancers of a technical and artistic level who succeed as performers, choreographers, teachers, and administrators.
