Jackson Community Foundation is now initiating a very exciting funding scheme named “Bernice Barabash Sports Scholarship”. This scholarship is meant to support those students who are hockey players as well as promising students. The program will be offered as a reward to students who participate in hockey while maintaining high academic standards in preparation for future educational enrichment. This scholarship is named after the Bernice Barabash. Applications for this award are available for students in grades 7-12 who are passionate about hockey and planning to attend an accredited college, university, vocational or technical institute.
The purpose of this scholarship is to provide needed financial support to students so that they can achieve their educational goals while following their sports passion. Most of the students find it difficult to maintain a balance between sports and their academics. Whether you are an athlete or not, academics should be the first priority of you as a student. It might prove challenging for you to pay for your education if you are involved in any sports. You might face financial crises. In such scenario a scholarship can prove a boon to you. With a scholarship, you can pay for your educational expenses and reduce the burden on you. Bernice Barabash Sports Scholarship is made available to encourage students to do better in both academics and sports. It will help you become the next sports leader.
