UNICO Foundation is providing financial assistance to talented students through its Bernard and Carolyn Torraco Memorial Nursing Scholarship. The scholars will get hands full of support to accomplish their higher education without any barriers.
Students of the United States who are currently attending nursing degree programs such as an Associate Degree School of Nursing, Collegiate School of Nursing or a Diploma School of Nursing have an astonishing chance to join this program.
UNICO was established in 1922, in Waterbury, Connecticut. It was created by a group of 15 men, led by Dr Anthony P. Vastola. They had a dream to create an Italian American service organization to engage in charitable works, support higher education.
Who May Eligible?
The scholarship is conducted for students who include the below requirements:
- Must be a United States citizen
- Must be currently attending an accredited campus-based nursing degree program in the United States
- Must be completing core nursing courses, at one of the following: An Associate Degree School of Nursing; A Collegiate School of Nursing; A Diploma School of Nursing.
- Must have a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
How to Apply
All students are asked to answer some pre-qualifying questions to proceed to the scholarship application for the consideration.

The Unico Foundation is presenting ten awards of amounting $2,500 each to talented students.
