Fellows thinking to enroll in College/University for the conservation courses should forget about their financial burden! Because Prairie Woodland Conservation Foundation is passionate about solving students’ financial issues. Fellows must be a High school graduate student having a good academic standing. These scholarships will reduce the financial stress of the students.
The Scholarship Program scope includes college students studying conservation and outdoor recreation-related majors and/or graduating high school seniors that have demonstrated their conservation concern. The Foundation is desperate to free the students from the financial burden and encourage students to make conversation courses; these scholarships are created.
The Prairie Woodland Conservation Foundation (PWCF) Scholarship Program aims to assist students in the learning process by offering financial support via scholarships. This scholarship has been renamed as Bennie F. Hall Prairie Woodland Conservation Foundation Scholarship. Prairie Woodland Conservation Foundation (PWCF) is one of the leading foundations working towards conservation.

Who May Be Eligible
Eligibility requirements are mentioned below:
- Students should be graduating High school seniors who plan to directly or indirectly enter a conservation-related field in college or vocational
- Applicants should have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 grading scale and accomplished at least 12 credit hours by the end of the first college

- Applicants must attach a 200 words essay on the following topic:
“The roles of hunting, fishing and trapping in conservation” or “What does conservation mean to you and how might Guthrie County increase outdoor recreation and conservation in the future?”
Benefits
The financial assistance awarded to the student will be selected by the PWCF board based on applications and shall be provided through the Foundation’s annual budget. Scholarship funds will typically be at least $500. This scholarship program will encourage students to pursue conservation courses. Scholarships provide financial assistance, which helps students to excel in their careers.
