Touchstone Energy Sports Camp Scholarships
Each year, North Carolina’s Touchstone Energy Cooperatives accept applications from middle-school students for all-expense-paid scholarships to summer basketball camps at the University of North Carolina and N.C. State University. To be eligible to apply, students must be raising sixth, seventh or eighth graders at a qualifying school in North Carolina. Young men can apply to attend the Roy Williams Carolina Basketball Camp in Chapel Hill, and young women can vie for a spot at the Wolfpack Women’s Basketball Camp in Raleigh. More than 50 scholarships will be awarded to students statewide.

Basketball Scholarships
Every year, the UK branch office is able to offer applicants around 250 scholarships from American universities. Students seeking a basketball scholarship will need to attend their 10-day Showcase (held every July in Florida). At the Showcase, you’ll play in front of college coaches from across the United States and have the chance to discuss their programs and the schools they represent. After the Showcase, you will receive a detailed report of scholarship offers from at least nine schools.

Bruce Johnson Memorial Scholarship
The Bruce Johnson Memorial Scholarship is given annually in memory of Bruce Johnson, long-time Treasurer of Section V, who passed away suddenly in the summer of 1998. To eligible, the applicant must be a member of his high school’s senior class and complete all graduation requirements in June. The award, sponsored by Dean Licata and Associates, is a one-time cash award of $500 which may be paid directly to the college of the recipient’s choice or established as an open account at the college’s bookstore for books or other defined school supplies.

No Bull Sports Scholarships
No Bull Sports is excited to award their quarterly scholarships to a deserving female high school sophomore, junior or senior to pursue her academic and athletic goals. To eligible, the applicant must currently participate on a sports team, or actively participate in another athletic endeavor, and plan to attend an institution of higher learning including, but not limited to- four-year college or university, community college, or a trade or technical school. Maintain a cumulative un-weighted GPA of at least 2.5 (on a 4.0 scale) during your high school career. The program offers $5,000 in March, June, and December.

Athletic basketball scholarships
Looking for a basketball scholarship? Americans are hooked on basketball and basketball is one of the most played sports in America.
