There are two scholarships currently available for students, namely Avera Health Leaders Scholarship and the Julie Sendelbach Nursing Scholarship. The Avera Health Foundation serves the South Dakota and surrounding areas of Minnesota, Iowa, and North Dakota and Nebraska through six regional centers in Aberdeen, Mitchell, Pierre, Sioux Falls, and Yankton, SD, and Marshall, MN. They provide the residents through 35 hospitals, 215 primary and specialty care clinics, and other facilities in addition to home care and hospice, sports, home medical equipment outlets, and more.
