Auxiliary Legacy Scholarship

NSPE or National Society of Professional Engineers is always ready to support the education of deserving engineering enthusiasts. National Society of Professional Engineers is welcoming female candidates to apply for its authentic Auxiliary Legacy Scholarship. The NSPE Education Foundation Auxiliary Legacy Scholarship is awarded annually to a female undergraduate entering or continuing their junior year of a four-year ABET-accredited engineering program. Candidates should be United States Citizens.

This scholarship aims to provide maximum support to the deserving female candidates to grow in the fields of engineering. Women in engineering perform excellently and passionately and to ensure that the lack of money never makes them demotivated the Foundation has initiated this program. The foundations aim to provide substantial support to the deserving students and give them some funding to make sure they make most of their engineering education. This scholarship is designed to enhance the interest of students in engineering.

NSPE was established in 1934 to realize a simple but vital goal: create an inclusive, nontechnical organization dedicated to the interests of licensed professional engineers, regardless of the practice area, that would protect engineers from unqualified practitioners, build public recognition for the profession, and stand against unethical practices and inadequate compensation. Much has changed since then, but NSPE’s fundamental commitment to this vision, articulated at its founding, remains unchanged. The NSPE Strategic Plan including their Vision, Mission, Values, and Goals developed by the NSPE Board of Directors in collaboration with NSPE’s representative House of Delegates.
