NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship program
The NCAA awards up to 174 postgraduate scholarships annually. The program is open to student-athletes who excel academically and athletically and who are at least in their final year of intercollegiate athletics competition. All former student-athletes who earned an undergraduate degree from an NCAA member school are eligible to be nominated by that school for an NCAA graduate degree scholarship, regardless of when they received their undergraduate degree. The one-time non-renewable scholarships of $7,500 are awarded three times a year corresponding to each sports season (fall, winter, and spring).

Paul Flaherty Athletic Scholarship
The American Legion Department of Kansas is now offering the Athletic Scholarship. Only high school seniors, college-level freshmen or sophomores who are enrolled or intend to enroll in an approved junior college, college, university, or trade school will be considered. This $250 scholarship is awarded to a high school boy or girl who has participated in school athletics.

CIF Scholar-Athlete of the Year
California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) is now offering the CIF Scholar-Athlete of the Year Program. This prestigious program recognizes 22 student-athletes based on excellence in athletics, academics, and character. One male and one female statewide winner will each receive $5,000 as well as a visit to the State Capitol in Sacramento where they will be honored in front of the legislature. Additionally, two winners (one male and one female) from each of the 10 Sections will receive $1,000 each.

High School Scholarship
Iowa Cheerleading Coaches’ Association (ICCA) pleased to offer the High School Scholarship. To eligible, the applicant must have a cumulative 3.5-grade point average or above by the end of his/her junior year (do not round up to 3.5) and applicant’s coach must be a present member of the ICCA. ICCA offers $500 scholarships to high school senior cheerleaders who display outstanding scholastic achievement.

Ethnic Minority and Women’s Enhancement Graduate Scholarship
The Ethnic Minority and Women’s Enhancement Graduate Scholarship are developed by the NCAA Committee on Women’s Athletics and the NCAA Minority Opportunities and Interests Committee. The NCAA awards $7,500 to 13 ethnic minorities and 13 female college graduates who will be entering their initial year of graduate studies.

Division II Degree Completion Award Program
The NCAA established the Division II Degree Completion Award Program to provide deserving student-athletes financial assistance for them to complete their first baccalaureate degree. The applicant shall be a student-athlete who has completed athletics eligibility at an active NCAA Division II institution and must be within 32 semester hours (48 quarter hours) of completion of an undergraduate degree. The Award value is the lesser of tuition for his or her remaining credits toward completing an undergraduate degree or $7,000.

Colleges Sports Recruiting Scholarship
As an organization, the “College Sports Scholarships” is proud to award a $1,000 scholarship to a college student who best represents a true leader in sports and life and encourage all current or future college students who competed in a sport at the high school level to apply for the College Sports Recruiting Scholarship. Current or future college students and High School seniors who will be attending college are eligible. The program will award $1,000 scholarship that can only be applied towards the cost of tuition, books or room and board.

Swim With Mike Physically Challenged Athletes Scholarship Fund
The Swim With Mike Family Association is proud to announce Athletes Scholarship Fund for athletes who participated in organized competitive youth, high school or collegiate athletics and subsequently have sustained a life-changing accident or illness (e.g. paralysis, blindness, cancer, amputation, head injuries). Scholarship recipients will meet the admissions standards at a four year or graduate level institution of higher learning.

Jay Cutler Athletic Scholarship
The Diabetes Scholars Foundation’s college scholarship program is available to incoming freshmen with type 1 diabetes and who are US citizens or permanent residents seeking a higher education at an accredited four-year university, college, technical or trade school. Jay Cutler Athletic Scholarship is a one $5,000 scholarship that will be awarded to a student that will be incoming freshmen with type 1 diabetes and will be playing a competitive sport in college.

The Joyce Komperda Athlete Support Fund
The Joyce Komperda Athlete Support Fund is now open to provide funds to young athletes who demonstrate a love of skating and financial need. To eligible, the applicant must be an intermediate-, novice-, or junior-level skater in singles, pairs or ice dancing. Selected skaters will be awarded grants to help cover skating expenses and will be featured in SKATING magazine.
