To be eligible candidates must be enrolled and taking courses in the 2020-2021 academic year. Applicants should have at least 60 semester hours of undergraduate credits attained or 24 if they are seeking an associate’s degree.
This program aims to provide considerable financial support to the deserving candidates in completing their higher education. The program is designed to help students who are struggling with financial debt and are not able to focus on their careers. The foundation understands that entering a new level of academics needs a lot of financial support. To make it possible for everyone to pursue their higher education, these scholarships have been designed.
The American Society of Safety Professionals Foundation, established by and in partnership with the American Society of Safety Professionals, generates funding and provides resources for scholarships, applied research, academic accreditation, and related educational initiatives to advance the safety, health, and environmental profession. Since 1990, the ASSP Foundation has awarded more than $3 million in scholarships and professional education grants to students beginning their studies in occupational safety and professionals seeking to continue their education. They offer nearly 150 awards each year, ranging from $500 to $15,000 each. More than 1,300 safety students and professionals have advanced their careers.

Who May Be Eligible?
Here are the eligibility requirements set by the foundation for this scholarship:
- Applicant should have a GPA of 3.0 if applying as an undergraduate and 3.5 if using as a graduate.
- Candidates should have at least 60 semester hours of undergraduate credits attained, or 24 if you are seeking an associate’s degree.

How to Apply
To apply for the program, all the eligible students should complete and submit the online application. The firm will not entertain any incomplete or late application. - What makes you stand out as an applicant?
- A letter of recommendation, along with the completed application, should be provided.
Benefits
Selected students will be awarded the scholarship between $1000 – $10000. More than $200,000 is available for scholarships. This program provides considerable financial support to the students and guides them to work hard and achieve all their career aspirations. The amount should be utilized to pay the educational expenses of the students like Tuition, fees, books, and other verified needs.
