Arlington Baptist University would like to present wonderful Non-Dorm Resident Leadership Scholarships for the academic year of 2020-2021. These awards will be offered to only incoming and returning students of Arlington Baptist University.
Recipients will be selected based on academic achievement, Christian Service achievement, and leadership service in their local church. These schemes will remove all the financial barriers that might be preventing you from obtaining higher education, and help you fully enjoy your educational experience at Arlington Baptist University.
Arlington Baptist University is a well-established institution providing students with spiritual, academic, and personal growth. It offers eighteen undergraduate and four master degree programmes designed to equip students with essential skills and knowledge. It was opened by J. Frank Norris in 1939 as Fundamental Baptist Bible Institute. It was started with sixteen students, and now it has become a home to thousands of students who hail from different parts of the world. Its teachers are highly qualified and master in their respective fields. Courses available at this university are highly acclaimed and popular among the students.

Who May Be Eligible?
Consideration will be given to those students who have the following credentials:
- Aspirants must maintain a grade of “B” or above in Christian Service;
- Candidates must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. If the student’s cumulative GPA should fall below a 3.0, the student becomes ineligible for scholarship funds until the next calendar year;
- Applicants must be full-time students (12 or more credit hours) for the entire semester;
- Any student placed on disciplinary probation is subject to forfeiting scholarship funds;
- All general requirements for initial qualifications must be upheld.
How to Apply
There is no separate application process available for this scholarship. Candidates, who are interested in this funding opportunity, will automatically be selected upon applying for an undergraduate degree programme at Arlington Baptist University. All the recipients must complete all the University’s admissions requirements.
Supporting Documents
Applicants need to submit a letter of recommendation from two faculty members of Arlington Baptist University. Recommendations will be based on class attendance, participation, character and leadership within the classroom setting. Recommendations must be from a professor of a class you took on-campus in the term immediately preceding the fall term for which you are applying.
