To be considered for these scholarships, candidates should be a student attending a 4-year university, or a fellow attending a 2-year college or technical school, or a candidate attending any type of higher institute of learning. The process is exceptionally simple for all.
The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging wants to free the students from their educational expenses and help them do better in their careers by not worrying about their finances. These scholarships are dedicated to supporting the students in building a positive career in their respective fields and helping them with their educational needs. The agency understands that higher or raised educational costs make it difficult for students to complete their higher education.
The Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging was founded by Mr. Earl “Otis” Hawkins in 2011. The foundation serves the people with services they need to remain safe and healthy in their homes. Different programs like scholarships or other grants and funds help people with their educational needs and motivate them to complete their dreams. Their main mission is to support the people who are in need of it through their initiatives.

Who May Be Eligible
Three different scholarships have different requirements. But the mandatory requirement is mentioned below:
- A student is attending a 4-year university, or a student is attending a 2-year college or technical school, or a candidate attending any type of higher institute of learning.
How to Apply
From the three scholarships, please select the one you are eligible for. Start with the application process and provide all the essential information. Submit all the mandatory materials through the application to be considered. Late submissions will not be entertained by the foundation. Please submit the applications before the deadline of the respective scholarship.

Benefits

- One $2,000.00 for a student attending a 4-year university;
- One $1000.00 for a student attending a 2-year college or technical school;
