ZGF Scholarship

The ZGF Scholarship recognizes and fosters students who have demonstrated a talent and passion for design in the study areas of architecture, interior architecture, urban planning and design, and landscape architecture. Students, who currently reside in the United States, are eligible to apply. Each year the program honors one student with a $10,000 scholarship + an internship opportunity at one of ZGF’s five US office locations.

SOPREMA Scholarship Program

The SOPREMA Scholarship is open to assist students pursuing a degree in architecture, engineering, construction management or a similar field at an accredited four-year college or university. High school seniors or graduates or current postsecondary undergraduate or graduate students are eligible to apply. If selected as a recipient, the student will receive a $5,000 award. Up to five (5) awards will be granted nationwide.

Houzz Scholarship Programs

Apply to win $2,500 for your education! Houzz excited to announce the Houzz Scholarship Program. They welcome all students 18 years of age or older at interior design, architecture, landscape architecture, and architectural engineering schools in the U.S. and Canada to apply for one of their three scholarships. This is open to students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate design or architecture program.

LAF’s Olmsted Scholars Program

Landscape Architecture Foundation (LAF) is pleased to offer its Olmsted Scholars Program. The program recognizes one outstanding student from each accredited landscape architecture program in the U.S. and Canada. Its $25,000 graduate and $15,000 undergraduate prize is the premier national award program for landscape architecture students.

IIDA Student Design Competition

The IIDA Student Design Competition (SDC) celebrates the talent and fresh design ideas of interior design students throughout the world. The competition provides emerging professionals the opportunity to showcase their work and gain exposure in the Interior Design industry. This competition is open to graduate and undergraduate students around the world who are currently enrolled in an interior design or architecture program. The program will provide an award to 1st Place – $2,500, 2nd Place – $1,500, and 3rd Place – $750.

Payette Sho-Ping Chin Memorial Academic Scholarship

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) is pleased to offer Payette Sho-Ping Chin Memorial Academic Scholarship to US Citizens. The program is open to rising 3rd or 4th-year undergraduate or graduate students (women) who are studying in NAAB-accredited architecture program and have GPA of 3.0 or higher. The $10,000 scholarship will be awarded to a student who will be entering at least their third year of undergraduate or any level of graduate study within an accredited architecture program.

Architecture Scholarships

UC MEXUS-CONACYT Doctoral Fellowship

Mexican citizens who are DACA recipients and have AB 540 status may also be eligible to apply. Eligible areas of study include the following: Architecture, Biological Sciences, Earth Sciences, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Humanities, Law, Physical Sciences, Social Sciences, and Urban Planning. The program provides up to five years of funding for Mexican students doing their doctoral studies at any one of the 10 University of California campuses. The program also provides non-resident tuition, fees, a stipend, and support towards health insurance.

Diversity Advancement Scholarship

The Architects Foundation, the philanthropic partner of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) is pleased to announce the Diversity Advancement Scholarship to help more minority students pursue a successful career in architecture. Eligible students must be a US citizen, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and be a high school student planning to enroll in a NAAB-accredited architecture degree
 program or a rising second-year college student in a NAAB-accredited architecture degree program or a technical school or community college student. Scholarships may be renewed for up to 5 years (up to a $20,000 total award—multiple scholarships are available).

Berkeley Undergraduate Prize for Design Excellence

The “Berkeley Prize” is endorsed by the Department of Architecture, University of California- Berkeley.  The competition is open to all current full-time registered students in an undergraduate architecture degree program or undergraduates majoring in architecture in accredited schools of architecture worldwide. Diploma in Architecture students who have not yet completed their Diploma is also eligible. There is a total prize of 25,000USD, minimum 7,500USD first prize.
