Fellows should be national Veterans, Active Duty, Guard and Reserves, or their Spouses or their children and grandchildren to be eligible. The needs may differ from program to program, but this is the basic need.

AMVETS scholarships are created to fulfil a financial gap after all Federal/State educational grants/scholarship/ grant available to an eligible applicant has been utilized/ all means exhausted. The AMVETS Scholarships help these veterans or their loved ones in every possible way. The AMVETS wants to make education possible for these deserving people. The process of this scholarship is excitingly straightforward.

• Fellows should be national Veterans, Active Duty, Guard and Reserves, or their Spouses or their Children and Grandchildren to be eligible.

How to Apply

All the candidates interested should go through the scholarships available and check which they seem to be eligible. Fellows should fill in all the information needed. If the application form is submitted late, then it will be rejected by the AMVETS. Please provide all the supporting materials necessary to be considered for awards.

Benefits

All the programs depending on the relationship, have varying benefits. Some benefits are here:

• Veterans or Active Duty: Two scholarships of $4,000 awarded annually.
• Spouse Scholarship: One scholarship of $4,000 awarded annually.
• Children/Grandchildren: Six scholarships of $4,000 awarded annually.
• The Dr Aurelio M. Caccomo Family Foundation Memorial Scholarship: Two scholarships of $12,000 awarded annually.
