Nowadays, Students find it interesting to gaining higher education and pursuing a career in the health care field. Besides the excellent income and benefits that come from working as a health care professional, this career has been popular among students because of the satisfaction and fame that it provides. As a part of this field, one can fulfil one’s desire to help people in need and make a difference in this world. This profession gives people the chance to improve others’ health, save lives and bring new ones into the world. To support emerging health care leaders and promote higher education in this field, HCC, in conjunction with AMN Healthcare, is sponsoring an excellent program called “AMN Healthcare Scholarship 2021”. High school seniors and college students are welcome to participate in this program.
This scholarship is designed to support those students who carry a passion for the healthcare profession and desire to serve people in need. As we all know that health-related challenges are increasing with each passing year. People have been encountering new diseases, and increasing pollution, fruits and vegetable-filled with chemicals and others can be the reason behind this spike in health care problems. To fight against and get victory over these new challenges, we need more healthcare leaders who are well qualified and dedicated toward their profession and helping others facing health-related problems. Keeping this need in mind, HCC, together with AMN Healthcare, has made available this program so that young students who are planning to enter this field can get the support they need.
HCC and AMN Healthcare are leading healthcare organization dedicated to keeping Southern California healthy. The members of these organizations are specialized in various fields from advertising, community relations and government relations and public affairs to strategic planning and writing/editing. These organizations truly represent a cross-section of Southern California’s health care, medical and biotech communications and marketing industry.

- Entrants must be high school seniors or college students presently enrolled, and in good standing, in a San Diego, Orange County or Los Angeles County school;
- All US citizens are invited to apply.
How to Apply
To become a participant of this program, candidates will need to send the following to hcc.scholarship@gmail.com:
- An essay on the topic: “Why I Plan to Enter the Field of Health Care After College Graduation.”
- A letter of recommendation might be by a teacher, principal, counsellor or professional presently working in the healthcare field.
- An unofficial copy of your transcripts, or other records of classes taken and grades received, must also accompany each entry.
- High school and college unofficial transcripts.
Benefits
The winners of this program will get a scholarship worth $2,000 to alleviate the expenses related to their health care education. This fund will remove the financial challenge coming on students’ way of gaining a higher degree in the healthcare field and encourage them to achieve their educational goals. It will make things way much easier for them that might be difficult for them without any financial help.
