Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Amgen Scholars Program at Duke, applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents, enrolled as undergraduates in accredited U.S. colleges, and fall within the sophomore to non-graduating senior categories. Scholarship Details

Selected scholars will have the opportunity to engage in collaborative research experiences during the summer of 2023. They will be matched with faculty mentors conducting cutting-edge biotechnology/drug discovery research at Duke University. The program includes not only laboratory work but also complementary activities such as visits to local biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, seminars, journal clubs, and social events.
