Hatch Foundation is glad to announce the scholarship for the students who have enrolled in the historically Black college or university (HBCU) for their undergraduate. The organization is pleased to announce the scholarship for such students and help them throughout their academics. The award is given based on the students’ academic performance and the financial need to complete the academics.
The American Promise Scholarship is a part of Orrin G. Hatch Foundation’s mission of educating and empowering the next generation of public leaders. The foundation aims to explore the Senator’s bipartisan legacy by giving students learning and professional development opportunities across the political spectrum. They are giving their best to provide the education for the students who are in need and develop new and best leaders out of them. The organization is trying to reduce the burden on students and help them through their academic career.
The Orrin G. Hatch Foundation is maintaining good relationships for over more than four decades. The Orrin G. Hatch Foundation has designed the bipartisan American Promise Scholarship. The Hatch Foundation is dedicated to instilling the virtues of cooperation and compromise into the next generation. To overcome the challenges which nations will face in the future, countries will need leaders willing to work in good faith with their counterparts on the other side of the aisle. To obtain this objective, the foundation came up with American Promise Scholarships.

Who May Be Eligible?

How to Apply
Applicants are requested to submit a filled application. Students must attach the required documents along with all the application and submit them through the email id at americanpromise@orrinhatchfoundation.org as attachments, and them as “Hatch.Orrin.Resume”
Supporting Documents
Few mandatory documents are:
- Students must submit the resume
- Applicant must provide two letters of recommendation from the past year
- (professors, employers, mentors, or service coordinators)
- Fellows must raise the current transcript or all transcripts
- Students must submit 300-500 words essay on a topic chosen from the prescribed list
Benefits
The scholarship lessens the burden of expenses of the students. Scholarship should be only used for all the educational costs for books, tuition fees, etc.; students are informed not to use the scholarship for anything other expenses. This scholarship will help the students to concentrate totally on the studies and not on academic finances.
