AMAC Foundation Scholarships in Aviation

In order to help women and minorities who are currently pursuing a career in the field of the aviation industry, the AMAC Foundation is now offering scholarships. This scholarship is a great help for those who aim to emerge as aviation professionals. This Scholarship is not limited just to the aviation industry, as students who are in business administration, accounting, architecture, along with many others, are eligible for this course. The AMAC Foundation has been working alongside AMAC to help women & minorities pursue a career in aviation. The AMAC Foundation has awarded more than $500,000 in scholarships from when it was established in 1997. The AMAC Foundation Scholarship hopes to aid students with some financial relief and help them complete their education. The AMAC Foundation has been dedicated to helping talented young students achieve their dreams.

The Airport Minority Advisory Council (AMAC) is known to be the only national, non-profit trade association dedicated to encouraging the full participation of women & minorities in employment and opportunities throughout the aerospace & aviation industries. Their vision is to create wealth, access, and economic equity with the mission to encourage minorities and women in the aviation and aerospace industries.

Who May Be Eligible?

To be eligible for this Scholarship, the applicant must be a US citizen with a desire to pursue a career in the aviation industry. Apart from that, the student must be in an accredited university or college with a minimum 2.5 GPA and some involvement in community and extracurricular activities.

How to Apply

In order to apply, the applicant must go on to the AMAC Foundation Scholarship page online, fill out the application form and attach the required documents before the deadline to be considered for this Scholarship.

Supporting Documents

The applicant needs to:

  • Provide an official transcript from a high school, college, university.
  • Provide two letters of recommendations from individuals (Non-Relatives) who can shed some light on your academic & career goals.

Write a 750-word essay on any of the topics given below:

  • Explain your dedication to succeed in the aviation industry and how AMAC can help you achieve your goal.
  • What are some of the most crucial issues that the aviation industry is facing today, and how do you see yourself changing them?
  • How has AMAC been instrumental in your career goals, and how have you contributed to AMAC.

Along with that, the applicants must also submit a two-paragraph biography summarizing employment, volunteer work and academic accomplishments.

  • Also, submit 400×600 pixels digital colour photograph suitable for publication.

Benefits

The winners of this Scholarship will receive discretionary funds from the AMAC Foundation, which will help them in their journey to become an aviation professional in the industry.
