If you are a patient of cancer and a resident of Arizona or New Mexico, then you can apply for the Alice F. Chang Cancer Wellness Grant provided by the Academy for Cancer Wellness Organization.
The program is designed to support research and research-based projects to improve the lives of cancer patients and cancer survivors through psychology.
Academy for Cancer Wellness, Inc. is a nonprofit organization established in 1995 by Alice F. Chang. Its aim is to provide support for cancer patients, as well as for their families and friends.
Who May Eligible
To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following criteria:
- Applicants must be an early career psychologist (no more than ten years postdoctoral).
- Participants must be affiliated with a nonprofit charitable, educational or scientific institution, or governmental entity operating exclusively for charitable and educational purposes.
- Candidates from Arizona and New Mexico are encouraged to apply.
