Any present Alabama Association of Nursing Students (AANS) participant who has completed at least 12 nursing credit hours is eligible for this scholarship. Proof of leadership and/or group engagement is the focus of the scholarship. It will be awarded on an annual basis at the AANS Annual Convention. The amount in question is $1,000. Alabama Nurses Foundation Community Grants

According to six (6) separate grants will be given out on a rolling basis during the year. The grants must resolve a current Alabama health concern, with a preference for initiatives that promote the ASNA Strategic Plan and/or ASNA House of Delegates resolutions. Each grant is worth $500. ASNA Academic Scholarships

Any Alabama resident pursuing a nursing degree may apply for an academic scholarship. At the Elizabeth A. Morris Clinical Education Sessions – FACES ’21, scholarships will be awarded. Nursing students in Alabama who are seeking an associate or baccalaureate degree are eligible. The amount in question is $1,000. Alabama State Nurses Association (ASNA) members will receive at least two scholarships. The scholarship will be given out based on academic achievement, nursing leadership, and ASNA dedication. Each scholarship is valued at $2,500. Any Alabama nurse will be awarded at least two scholarships depending on academic achievement and career activities. The ABN understands the importance of keeping licensees up to date with clinical procedures in order to provide the best quality services to Alabama residents. Association of perioperative Registered Nurses Foundation (AORN) Scholarship

Students who are pursuing a career in perioperative nursing are enrolled in an accredited bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral degree program. Applicants must be enthusiastic about perioperative nursing and dedicated to continuing their studies. Applicants must have a net GPA of 3.0 or greater. Nursing students who have been accepted into or who are currently enrolled in an accredited diploma, associate, baccalaureate, or doctoral degree nursing program entitled to apply.
