Students currently studying or applying for enrollment in mathematics or science single-subject teacher education credential program at Fresno Pacific University have an opportunity to grab AIMS scholarship. The award is organized by the AIMS education foundation.
The foundation created the grant to help the deserving student get one step closer to their dreams. The AIMS Education Foundation supports preservice and in-service math and science teachers in continuing education to develop expertise in teaching.
AIMS education foundation is a non-profit organization that supports playful, imaginative, creative, human-centered, and socially-informed approaches to teaching and learning mathematics and science. AIMS helps to develop expertise in math and science teaching.

Who May Be Eligible?
To apply for the scholarship, the candidate should pass the below-given criteria:
- Applicants must be admitted and enrolled in Mathematics or Science Single-subject Teacher Education Credential program at Fresno Pacific University.
- Applicants must complete of all California Subject Examinations for Teachers (CSET) exams required for a preliminary secondary teaching credential.
- Completion of Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment (BTSA) or induction program
How to Apply
If you qualify all the eligibility requirements, then submit your necessary documents and essay electronically through an online application form.
Applications may be submitted for any start semester as long as the deadline has not passed. If your request is sent after the deadline date, your application will be considered for the following semester.

- STEM Learning Through a Funds of Knowledge Lens
- Professional Noticing: Developing Responsive Mathematics Teaching
- Embodiment and Embodied Design
- Choose one of the following articles and write a response relating the ideas/concepts/findings to your philosophy of mathematics or STEM education.
- Submit the completed AIMS Scholars Program online application for review. (An interview may follow if your application gets selected)
Benefits
The AIMS Teacher Education Scholarship awards six students each academic year with a $5,000 scholarship. Students enrolled in Mathematics or Science Single-subject Credential program at Fresno Pacific University can have this excellent opportunity to win this scholarship.
