The ARMA International Educational Foundation has announced a scholarship program for students who are undergraduate and pursuing an associate, bachelor, or graduate/professional degree with the intent of becoming an information management professional or in a related field. Students from all countries and all nationalities are welcomed for this scholarship program. The program provides an opportunity for those students who want to pursue their education and build up their career in information management and related field. Students need to write an essay that determines their interests in IM and other details.
The winners for this program will be selected based on their application, their resume, and the essay where they will discuss their interest in IM, their plans to contribute to their field, etc. The selected applicants will get eligible for awards. graduate-level students will receive award amounts of up to $3,000, and undergraduate-level students will receive up to $1,200. And at least one of each will be awarded to qualified international applicants. The amount will be directly given to the winners, and they might use the amount for their educational purposes, such as in managing their education-related expenses.
The AIEF was founded in January 1973 and is the association for records and information management professionals who created an education and scholarship Fund. Their mission is to provide current and relevant resources to information management professionals allowing them to advance the profession and vision to be the leading organization that facilitates research, scholarship, and education for the information management profession.

Who is Eligible?
Applicant must:
- Be currently pursuing and in at least the second course toward an accredited educational program pursuing an associates, bachelors, or graduate/professional degree with the intent of becoming an information management* professional or in a related field.ย Preference will be given to applicants focused on an information management related degree.
- Have completed at least two courses/classes/units of coursework toward your degree.
- Have attained a โCโ average or higher in your current degree program (or Pass if Pass/Fail).
- Have not received a Foundation-funded scholarship of any type within the past 5 years.
- Students from all countries and of all nationalities may apply.ย

How to Apply?
Applicants who are eligible for this program should fill up their application form with entering proper information, and should write an essay discussing their interests in Information Management, their plans to contribute to the IM field, and should describe their IM-related experience if applicable (in no more than two pages, double spaced and in 12-point font). The essay should be original and should not be a class paper or assignment. With this, applicants must attach their current educational transcript with the most recent courses taken (If they are currently enrolled in courses but have not been issued a semester/term grade, the transcript should indicate that they are currently enrolled in said courses), and a resume or curriculum vitae.
