SCI Agri-Food Early Career Committee is set to accept applications for its “AgriFood Photo Competition 2021”. This is the fourth time they have launched this contest which gives early-career scientists an opportunity to share photographs representing their work. The theme of this year 2021 Twitter Photo Competition is ‘My hope for a sustainable future.’ All participants are required to share a picture of their agrifood work and describe to the judges why and how it gives them hope for a sustainable future. If you require some inspiration to click the best photos of your work and don’t know where to start, then you can check out the last year’s winning entries by visiting here.
The winner of this year’s competition will take home a $100 Amazon voucher along with one year’s student membership to SCI as well as a certificate. To get nominated for this program, what you need to do is to click the best photos of your work and tweet them with a caption explaining why it gives you hope for a sustainable future. Entries should involve #agrifoodbecause and tag the SCI Agri-Food Early Careers Committee Twitter handle @SCI_AgriFood. Applicants will get the chance to have their work judged by an expert panel. Photos might include anything related to agriscience, plants, pollinators, food, pests, environment, and agriculture.
