Bold.org provides many funding opportunities to students to help them acquire higher education without compromising on quality.
This time, bold.org is presenting to you another scholarship program by the name of the “Art Locally Scholarship” for all the students pursuing any field of study. The following scholarship program asks you to write a 500-1,000 word essay on the given topic and the two candidates with the best response will receive the one-time scholarship amount of $500 each. The best part about this scholarship is that it has no restrictions regards to eligibility, anyone who is a student, be it any GPA or any major is eligible to apply. The winners will be selected based on the quality of the essay and your vision to make an impact. The deadline for the same is October 29, 2021, and the winners will be announced on November 30, 2021.
The primary purpose of offering this scholarship is to encourage students who are working to change the world by taking action in their local communities. From little things, big things grow. The problems facing the world today can make it easy to feel overwhelmed and powerless to make a difference, but the most important opportunities to create meaningful change are just outside your door. Social action within your local community, environment, economy, and elections is a powerful step forward that can reverberate to the national and global level. Who is Eligible?
The following scholarship is open to all students. All GPAs will be considered, and all majors are invited to apply. Therefore, no restrictions regard to eligibility, any student can enter.
How to Apply?
The interested individuals are required to fill out the application form given on the scholarship portal and submit it. Additionally, the candidates are required to write a 500-1,000 word essay on the following topic:
What change do you want to see in your community, the country, and the world, and how do you act locally to help make a difference?
Supporting Documents
After announcing the winner, the winner will have to provide proof of enrolment in the form of recent transcripts.
Benefits
The two winners will be publicly announced on November 30, 2021, and be awarded a one-time scholarship amount of $500 each. The amount will be transferred by cheque to the institution’s financial aid office the candidate is attending. If there is no financial aid office in the candidate’s school or college, the amount will be directly transferred to the candidate.
