The Alaska Education Grant is specially established by the ACPE to support the U.S and Alaska citizens or permanent residents. The program is inviting students having a high school diploma or GED or admitted into an undergraduate degree at a qualifying Alaska Institute.
The grant is just a way to be a supportive pillar towards the applicant’s higher studies costs. The committee wants to ensure that no student should fail to achieve their educational goals and dream due to any financial aid hurdle.
The Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education is funded by the Alaska Student Loan Corporation. It promotes access to and success in education and career training. The Legislature created ACPE in 1974 to centralize planning for higher education and administer financial aid programs
