Who is Eligible?
The applicant must be a:
- The female resident of Cumberland Country, PA for at least one year
- An undergraduate or graduate student
- An enrolled student has an associate, bachelor, or higher degree from a regional recognized college, university, or institution.

- Attend an interview in person in Carlisle or on zoom, if Covid precautions are required, on Feb 19, 2022.
- If the applicant gets selected, they must agree to attend AAUW Carlisle Branch Scholarship Banquet on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at 6 pm in Carlisle, or on zoom, if COVID precautions are required (each recipient will give an acceptance speech outlining her educational and career goals to AAUW members attending this event);
- Agree to allow AAUW Carlisle Branch to use her name, picture, and/or biographical information publication.

This scholarship is for women, they will get awarded $1500; at least one scholarship will be provided. The women who want to pursue further education after high school or after graduation can benefit. This will help all those women out there in Cumberland country to be more knowledgeable, educated, independent, and growing ladies. All low class or middle class who cannot afford their education fees requirements will be acknowledged by this scholarship program.
